I am all set for the Cannes 2014. I had my look back on the 2013 fashion and is now looking towards this year's events! Recently Sonam Kapoor unveiled the 3 L'Oreal L'Or Lumiere collection for Cannes 2014. The L'Oreal Paris beauty expert Namrata Soni says she has has created three looks inspired by the infusion
of neo-gold and exciting
spring hues. These looks are inspired by gold, and are called, Resplendent in Gold, Reign In Red and Spring Radiance
The L'Oreal team(led by Namrata Soni) created a collection that "highlights the exuberance of Neo Gold as a beauty trend on Indian
and global fashion runways. Since shades of gold beautifully embrace all Indian
skin tones, the L’Or Lumière Collection presents products gorgeous bright hues that
stylishly accentuate the brilliance of gold. "
These looks are very glamorous and my favorite of the lot is definitely Resplendent in gold.

I have always hated matte lipsticks since they always make my lips look very dry and end up getting patchy. If the claims from this range is realized, then it can solve both these problems. The shades such as Lincon Rose, Maple Mocha and Blaze Of Red seems very pretty.
Super Liner Gelmatic
L'Oréal Paris introduces its first gel eye liner in a Twist Up pen format – L'Oréal Paris Super Line Gel Matic. The product is created with an exclusive formulation of ingredients and is designed to last for up to 12 hours giving an intense matte colour pay off. The product has a pen-precision for a super easy application, the intensity of a gel and is totally smudge proof. Comes in five rich, luxurious shades and is priced at Rs. 395
Okay. This product has seriously got me intrigued. The twist up formula, with the gel liner like consistency sounds amazing. They are easily combining the best of both worlds. The controlled application of twist up eyeliner and the pigmented finish of gel eyeliner. I am eager to see if the results will stand up to the high claims.
Color Riche Le Vernis

Vernis is a range of intense colors that come with an in-built top coat giving
the nails a bright and high-shine finish. The shades provide intense color and
a luxurious shine in just a single stroke. They are available in two stunning
shades and are priced at Rs. 235
The sheer number of available shades and the high finish is great a motivator for me to go and try these out.
Infallible Monos Eye Shadow
Ultra-intense
colour, up to 24 hour long-lasting hold and velvety soft feel, this product is
ideal to create the perfect luminous eye. The product contains an exceptionally
high level of colour pigments, for an intense color finish. The eye-shadow
melts gently from the fingertips to the eyelid on application. The result is a
rich and satiny look. Available in 10 bright shades and are priced at Rs. 550.
The shades such as burning black, purple obsession and all night blue seem really interesting and would be great to do some dramatic looks with.

18 and 19, while the other ambassadors, Freida Pinto will walk the Red
Carpet on the 17th and 18th of May and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will walk
the red carpet on the 16th and 17th.

I think that this year's collection seems very interesting. I would really love to recreate some of the looks from this collection, especially the resplendent in gold and spring radiance. The gelmatic is the product I am most interested in. Let's wait and see how the L'Oreal Paris Ambassadors will pull it off at Cannes.
