What is #PinktoberCollab?
I feel like the onset
of instagram,twitter and professionalized blogging and the creation of cyber
celebrities has seriously depleted the community feeling of blogs and this will be going on till the end of this month.
Our purpose is to create awareness about breast cancer and create a sense of community between bloggers like in our earlier times. Although there are movements like thinkbeforeyoupink that talk about raising awareness without doing anything else, there are a lot of women (and girls) in our who know about breast cancer but who thinks that they will not get it.
My idea for the Pinktoberpost, is to do something pink. That falls within the usual theme of the blog.. I did a pink makeup look, a fashion blogger could do a pink outfit etc. A food blogger could do a recipe that gives a pink result, like Macaroons, cake, or something along those lines.
I have already roped in a few bloggers for this tag and they are in the works for their posts. I will provide links to the tagged bloggers in the second post so that you can check them all out and subscribe to see their posts.
