Wishlist Wednesday: The Body Shop Body Butters

I wasn't much of a body lotion person, until i came across my lovely Dove Essential Nourishment Body Lotion for normal to dry skin and there has been no looking back.I slather it on after every bath like anything.I love the feeling of the heavy lotion sinking into my skin right after a nice long shower. There is nothing quite to compare to it.... hmmm....

*gonna go take a shower now*

Okay, now that I am back,I want to tell you guys about something that i have been lusting for a while now.I know most of you people have used these products (lucky ducks),but I am just a measly college student who doesn't make enough money as she should and therefore I am waiting to splurge on these babies. Now enough about my money cribbing.

I absolutely LOVE tub packaging.I know a lot of people hate it,but i love using my finger to scoop it out and slather it on. It almost feels like I am using a product I made myself at home and that is great feeling too.

I also love the variety of flavors they come in.Since pictures mean a thousand words and since i am feeling particularly lazy. I will let the pictures do all the tempting.I have rounded up the most appetizing (no other word is there really) photos of my favorite flavors and so here goes, the most tempting flavors of body butter from TBS being:

  1. Mango
  2. Strawberry
  3. Chocomania
  4. Cocoa
  5. Coconut
  6. Papaya
  7. Passsion Fruit
  8. Cherry Blossom
  9. Satsuma
  10. Shea

Okay, now that we are rushing out the door to get us some, here is something (the one thing) to hold us back.

The price is 200ml for Rs.745/-

So why dont I am hanging onto my money now and save up enough to get some on a combo offer that is bound to happen someday or the other.

Till then I will just look the lotion porn and sigh...!!

    4. Hmm..Then I guess I can be sure that the hydration is flavor dependent..! Thats a big relief...

  4. I own body butter in peach. They smell divine, but are not heavy duty ones. My skin tends to go dry n flaky in 1 hour after I apply these.

  5. I use Avani pear/apple body butter which is a combination of butter, aloe vera extract and essential oils. It smells really nice and makes my skin soft and supple. I found it at Jabong.com, that too at 50% discount...... :)
